Nicknamed "Porkopolis" for being the center of the nation's meat packing industry, our Queen City is rich in history and has evolved into a diverse community of culinary excellence, world class museums and stunning architecture. The first winery in the United States to become commercially successful was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in the mid-1830s by Nicholas Longworth. Zincinnati is a tribute to that history and to Cincinnati wine aficionados. This classic Mendocino Zinfandel delivers bold berry aromas, balanced with toasty vanilla oak and anise notes. Supple flavors of ripe plum and smokey boysenberry are followed by a rich mid-palate and silky tannins. We suggest (what else!) Cincinnati's famous Montgomerey Inn ribs to pair with this Zinfandel.
