Falanghina (pronounced “fah-lahn-geeh-nah") is one of the great value whites from Italy's Campania region. This one smells amazing and tastes a little like a bottle of Chardonnay crashed into a lemon tree. Raduno Delle Streghe translates to "the gathering of the witches," an ode to the area from which this wine hails. Basked in Mediterranean sunlight, the Falanghina grape thrives on the southern Italian coast in the region of Campania. The Campanian province of Benevento is an area famous for its ancient legends of witchcraft. The label depicts a typical scene from folklore or pagans performing a ritual dance around a walnut tree on the banks of the Sabato River.
