The esteemed Graillot family recently acquired 8 hectares of Beaujolais in the crus of Saint Amour (in the climat of Côte de Besset) and Fleurie, that they named Domaine de Fa. One of the highest elevation vineyards of the Beaujolais appellation near Saint-Amour and Julienas, 'En Besset' is certified organic, in conversion to biodynamic. A lovely and textured red with an amazing color and aromas of crushed violets, red and black fruits and plenty of spicy/earthy notes. Fresh, snappy and utterly delicious, it’s wonderful to drink on its own but also quite versatile, and can be easily paired with soft cheeses, chicken, and fish dishes. It can even handle some spice.
