.This very tiny operation has been run since 1935 in the northernmost village of Cote Rotie. The original vineyard, now known as “Les Grandes Places," shares its land with other growers where Syrah is the focus. This family, however, has embraced another clone of Syrah known locally as Serine. This Syrah is known to be low yielding, something quite rare in the Rhone as many set their sights on higher yields. The family is also known for their focus on pioneering organic farming, something that still sets them apart from other growers.
